This page applies to the Mandragora website and the Mandragora mobile app, published by AKONGO for the Mandragora consortium. One account serves both: deleting it from either deletes it everywhere.
How to do it
- In the Mandragora mobile app: Profile › Delete my account, then type SUPPRIMER to confirm. Deletion is immediate (a network connection is required).
- On the website: Profile › Data & Privacy › Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is immediate.
- Without access to your account: write to privacy@mandragora-app.com from the account's email address, with the subject "Account deletion". Requests are handled within 30 days; we may ask you to confirm your identity.
What is deleted
- your sign-in account (email address, password);
- your profile (display name, role, institution membership);
- your votes and the invitations you sent or received.
What is kept, and why
- Your scientific contributions (assessments, sources) stay in the knowledge base for their scientific value, anonymised: your name and email are removed.
- Your institution's field data (enclosure inventories, plant distributions, field signals, photos) belongs to the institution and stays available to its team. It keeps only a technical identifier that can no longer be linked to your name or email.
- The audit log is kept for 5 years and technical logs for 12 months, as described in the privacy policy.
Deleting some data only
To have a photo, a field signal or another specific record deleted without deleting your account, contact your institution's Mandragora administrator or write to privacy@mandragora-app.com.
